We’re lucky to live in a place where there aren’t many plants that are harmful but even still we spent a lot of time acquianting ourselves to the local flora and being a chef in Kadeau means having an adequate knowledge of the local plants to be sure we never serve anything we shouldn’t. The way we learned so much was through books, the internet but mostly through connecting with local foragers, park rangers and people who’ve lived off the land for years.
